Hello everyone,
I'm looking through the stats on universities in the UK for studing a
business / finance undergratuate degree. I'm very interested in the Cass
Business
School (www.cass.city.ac.uk) in London (part of City University) but many
people don't appear to recognise this institution as highly as some
traditional univerisities.
I have found the following information...
- 26 ucas points standard entry requirment
- Official UK teaching inspection score of 23/24
- Scored '5' on RAE (Reasearch Assessment Exercise), one of sixteen to
achieve 5 or 5* score out of a total of 100 business departments in the UK
- Guardian newspaper ranks Cass as 3rd best in the UK for Business
- Times newspaper ranks Cass as 13th in the UK for business
- Financial times rank Cass as 3rd in the UK, 4th in Europe and 13th in the
world for Executive MBA's
Overall I believe this paints a very promising picture. I'm slightly
concerned over the variance between the Times' and Guardians' ranking, even
when assignig importance to different peieces of data to rank differently
(as they do), I would still have expected similer rankings.
What do you all think of this university?
Good prospects for good students?
