Dear reader.
Sorry for cross posting but this a big concern of mine and I would
like as many people as possible to comment.
I'm having a VERY hard time deciding which University to go to in
Australia, MacQuarie (Sydney) or Queensland Uni of Technology
(Brisbane).
I'm a full fee paying student and dishing out A$60.000 100.000 is
not something I can afford to do lightly, but try as I do to find
information about the relative Uni's is proving to be very hard.
Questions (I would like to study Bioinformatics):
MacQuarie: http://www.international.mq.edu.au/study/undergraduate/areas_coursedetails.asp?cse=199
QUT: http://www.international.qut.edu.au/courses/course-major.jsp?major-id=2042&structure=2370&parent-count=0#2370
1.- Which has a better reputation?
2.- Which has a higher academic standard?
3.- Which has better teachers/lecturers?
4.- Which has better facilities?
5.- Which course looks better and harder?
6.- Is there some website that has a detailed comparison of Uni's?
Any help would really be appreciated, I don't want to just jump in to
some Uni and hope for the best. People don't just spend A$100k on a
car and hope for the best.
Please tell me something.
Thanks!
